Round 2 set

The matchups for round 2 are set. Please contact your opponent ASAP and set up a fight time. Those who played and lost in the first round, you have been added to round 2 matchups as we have had numerous double forfeits. Here's our list of fighters who were given a second shot:

Well, the biggest announcement that I have to make is that the site has now been optimized and runs MUCH faster. Thanks to everyone who put up with it in its previous state, I understand it was slow, but now it's good for the main GP. Due to this optimization, there will be some links from previous posts and forum posts which will be broken. Most of these links are to the forums, simply go to "Forums" at the top to find the right thread. If you do notice other bugs which we have missed, please let us know ASAP.

We'd also like to announce that Cbass has won our Xbox 360 kickoff GP as Forrest Griffin. He finished off ZephyR187 in a tough battle by KO at 4:30 of the third round. For those who particpated, feel free to let us know how we can improve the mini-GPs in the future and if you're interested in another one.

The PS3 GP is underway and going well. You can track the progress of the bracket here and follow the thread which has updates on how the matches went here.

Kickoff tournaments nearly set to begin

360

The 360 kickoff tournament is set, fighters have been selected and the tournament is ready to go. To view the brackets for this event go to brackets -> 360 -> LHW -> Pool A or click here. We have some real good matchups including a possible preview of Rich Franklin vs. Wanderlei Silva and Tito vs. Forrest II. To those in this tournament, you may play your first match whenever you'd like before 11:59 pm on Monday (default time is Monday at 9:00). Thus, if you and your opponent agree to play on any day prior to monday, that will be perfectly legal.

PS3

The PS3 draft is still incomplete, timeframes are going to close down. Everyone in the draft must be on and make their picks by Sunday night. If you have not been on the clock by 7pm EST Sunday night, you will be free to choose your fighters on a first come, first serve basis. Those who haven't made a selection by 10pm EST will be removed from the tournament. Visit the draft thread here.

LHW Tourny update

Well, we've had one guy (b0bb0) go MIA in the 360 tourney draft. Therefore, we're looking for one more player to enter the 360 tournament. Unfortunetely you'd be drafting 16th overall, but anyone can have a puncher's chance (plus automatic entry into the next GP). Those who are interested please make a post in http://uggp.searingmedia.com/node/46 ASAP. Welcome to the Undisputed UGGP 2009 Website

Greetings ladies and gents, this is the official website for the Undisputed UGGP 2009. Feel free to sign up even if you have not yet signed up for an event by e-mailing DaSquidge. Please note: You will not appear on the "players" page until we have added you to an event.

Our main events will begin on June 5th and go weekly until July 5th in as many weight classes as we can fill per console. If you'd like to compete in extra weight classes, simply message an admin or make a forum post. We will use created fighters for this GP. Signup here.

We may also be hosting a 4 day GP from May 25th to May 29th with actual UFC fighters in the LHW division. We'll host a lottery, then a draft and allow each fighter to be chosen a maximum of once per console. If you are interested in competing in this event, please make a post in the forums. Signup here.
